Update to Families: 4/27/20

I hope all is well with you and yours. Welcome to those who are new to Webster Manor’s email blast. These email blasts are a bridge for us to share updates and facts from the center.

Presently Webster Manor is holding strong with the pandemic that we are all faced with. We currently remain with 2 COVID positive patients within our designated COVID Wing. We have zero pending Coved test, with NO staff testing positive either. Signs show improvement or clearing for our 2 Covid-19 positive residents, but we are not out of the woods yet. Please keep them in your thoughts.

As a facility we are holding tight to our screening process for all vendors & staff daily and we monitor vitals on EVERYONE every 4 hours. This is our best defense along with good hand hygiene and ample supply of PPE equipment.

Visitation is still restricted at this time and the only items allowed for drop off are clothes for laundering & flowers. No food or drinks, please us the US Postal Service to deliver items to your loved one.

As a team we recognize how stressful it must be not to be able to visit in person with your loved one, but it is the only effective approach and a required one presently deemed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health & Centers for Disease Control.

Webster Manor offers video chat sessions and window visits. If you would like to schedule one with our team please email recreation@webstermanorrhcc.com. We kindly ask that you keep the sessions to 30 minutes each, this ensures that others get a fair share and other activities can be offered.

I am pleased to announce that earlier today I heard we would be receiving a donation of Tablets from Walmart through Massachusetts Senior Care Association. This is welcoming news as we could certainly use more, and these will be helpful in the future.

Take care and stay safe!

Kind Regards,

 Corey Baudette, NHA
