COVID-19 Update from Administrator

COVID-19 Update from Administrator

We hope everyone is doing well.

There have been many updates since the weekend in regards to policy and procedures here at Webster Manor & we wanted to share a few. So that you are aware we continue with our screening process with ALL staff & emergency vendors. It was recommended by CMS that we eliminate communal dining, along with group activities and group therapies until further notice. As it went into effect the team here implemented policy immediately. Today, there was a slight change allowing as followed: 5 people or less are allowed to meet but need to maintain the 6 feet separation between people. This will help in utilizing all the space we have available while maintaining residents safety.

Our clinical team has now created COVID-19 Care plans for ALL residents & are checking temperatures each shift on ALL residents as a routine precautionary measure, to ensure the safety of your loved one. Recreation, as of today will also create Covid-19 Care Plans on all residents for their well-being.

We would like to begin to roll out our “by appointment” social media sign up with those interested. We will do our very best to accommodate those who are interested & ask that you bear with us as this will be a new experience for us. Scheduling a time will be based on a 1st come 1st serve basis to allow ALL our residents a chance to speak with their family. Please email us at Info@WebsterManorRHCC.com

Lastly, if you have any other ideas for recreation for your loved one that we could pass along to the team this would be helpful in keeping the residents occupied in an already challenging situation. I also ask that you keep us in mind for donations that could also facilitate fun activities for our residents (playing cards, word searches, letter writing, etc.) at this time. There has been a quiet hum about what the community can do for our elderly population as this has been difficult for them. Please speak with your close friends and neighbors to help assist us during this challenging time.

I hope this finds you well and look forward to our next update.

Kind Regards,

 Corey Beaudette, NHA
